Your impact

• Strategic leadership and culture change: You develop and implement a future-proof information security policy that seamlessly aligns with our organizational goals. In doing so, you not only focus on technology, but create an organization-wide culture of security and awareness. You integrate principles such as "Zero Trust" and "Assume Breach" to promote a proactive security approach.
• Team-building and awareness: As an inspiring people manager, you will build and lead a team of security experts. You emphasize building robust security awareness among all employees. You implement awareness programs and training to make employees collectively accountable for cybersecurity.
• Certification expert: You are the driving force behind achieving and maintaining critical certifications such as ISO27001. In doing so, you combine technical requirements with cultural changes so that security becomes an inseparable part of the organizational culture.
• Risk Management and Communication: You effectively analyze and mitigate security risks. As a culture changer, you communicate clearly on technical topics in a non-technical environment, both to colleagues and to management and the board.
• Innovation driver: You stay abreast of the latest security trends and technologies and translate them into opportunities for Valid. In doing so, you focus not only on technological innovations, but also on new approaches to creating and maintaining a strong security culture.

What we expect from you:

• WO working and thinking level in the field of ICT and/or risk management.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the field of data protection officer.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the field of information security.
• In possession of the required certifications: CISSP/CISA/CISM and IAPP/DPO.
